The Space Pirates of Rocquaine were born in a storm whilst the sea raged and the ale flowed in the public bar of The Imperial Hotel on Guernsey’s west coast. They are the sum of their parts which is roughly – 2 parts rock, 1 part country, 3 parts folk and 6 parts rum. They chose their name because it was ridiculous and only supposed to last for one gig. That was well over a decade ago and they now pride themselves on always having the longest name on the bill. Expect fantastical storytelling, foot-tapping melodies and the odd riotous jig!
